The Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC), 61-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (20-1) will now prepare for their test against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers go into the test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Wilson Prep notched a victory over Warren County (Warrenton, NC), 70-51, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Roanoke Rapids for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Nash Central will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 48-37 non-league loss to Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-6.
