North Carolina High School Basketball - Western Harnett knocked off by Westover

The Westover Wolverines basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Western Harnett Eagles to 29 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Overhills for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 14. Westover will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 52-40 non-league win over Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-2.

The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Terry Sanford ran past E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), 54-44, in a non-league contest.
