In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Independence Knights soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Emerson Mavericks.

The Mavericks (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers come into the battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Lebanon Trail nudged Independence (Frisco, TX), 4-0, in a league battle.
