Next, the Tigers face the Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge, on Friday, February 16. Wharton will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Sharks enter the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 10-0 league loss to Bay City (Bay City, TX).

The Cardinals now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hallettsville for a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge on Friday, February 16. Columbus will face a Brahmas team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-10.
