Michigan High School Basketball - Ashley falls to Carson City-Crystal

The Ashley Bears basketball squad (Ashley, MI), was outscored 45-28 in Thursday's league battle with the host Carson City-Crystal Eagles (Carson City, MI)

With the victory, Carson City-Crystal advances its record to 3-16 on the year. The Eagles travel to Merrill (Merrill, MI) to meet the Vandals in a Mid-State battle on Saturday, February 15. The Vandals enter the battle with a record of 5-14. Merrill lost 86-40 in their recent league battle against Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI)

The Bears now own a 1-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lansing Christian for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 19. Ashley will meet a Pilgrims squad coming off a 79-56 non-league win over Livingston Christian (Pinckney, MI). The Pilgrims record now stands at 7-13.
