In Thursday's league test, the Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA) basketball squad knocked off the host Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA), by a score of 53-45.

Next, the clash with the Tidewater Academy Warriors (Wakefield, VA) in a VISAA Division IV test, on Friday, February 14. Banner Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 4-13 record after their 71-46 league loss to Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA).

The Vikings (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA). The Knights come into the VISAA Division III test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot beat Grove Christian School (Richmond, VA), 62-61, in a non-league test.
