The Bemidji Lumberjacks basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Grand Rapids Thunderhawks to 62 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lumberjacks now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brainerd for a AAAA Section 8 game on Saturday, February 15. Bemidji will confront a Warriors team coming off a 58-54 league win over Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Grand Rapids falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks travel to Marshall (Duluth, MN) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Hilltoppers go into the game with a record of 6-15.
