In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Bloomfield Wildcats basketball team scored a good 63-48 triumph over the Malden Green Wave.
The Wildcats (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Leopold (Leopold, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Leopold topped Scott County Central (Sikeston, MO), 56-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Green Wave battle the Bernie Mules (Bernie, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 14. Malden will attempt to better on its 1-19 season record.
