In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Wolverine Wildcats basketball team scored a good 70-61 triumph over the Boyne Falls Loggers.

The Wildcats (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Atlanta (Atlanta, MI). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Atlanta was topped by Hale (Hale, MI), 63-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Loggers battle the Mackinaw City Comets (Mackinaw City, MI) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Friday, February 14. Boyne Falls will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 72-41 non-league loss to Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI).
