The Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) basketball were winner over the host Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM), 56-44 in Thursday's league bout.
The Sundevils now possess a 12-11 record. They play next when they host Cuba for a 3A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 18. Sandia Prep will play a Rams team coming off a 57-42 league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Rams record now stands at 10-14.
With the loss, Cottonwood Classical Prep falls to 4-21 on the campaign. The Coyotes host East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM) to play the Timberwolves in a 3A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 16-8. East Mountain won 49-21 in their recent non-league bout against Coronado (Gallina, NM)
