The Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) basketball were winner over the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 71-53 in Thursday's league bout.
The Sundevils now possess a 19-5 record. They play next when they host Los Alamos for a 4A District 2 bout on Saturday, February 15. Espanola Valley will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-17.
With the loss, Moriarty falls to 8-15 on the campaign. The Pintos travel to Taos (Taos, NM) to play the Tigers in a 4A District 2 bout on Saturday, February 15. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Taos lost 71-49 in their recent league bout against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
