In Thursday's league test, the Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA) basketball squad defeated the host Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA), by a final score of 57-37.

Next, the Royals clash with the Brookline Warriors (Brookline, MA) in a non-league test, on Sunday, February 16. Georgetown will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 17-5 record after their 78-51 league win over Framingham (Framingham, MA).

With the loss, Ipswich falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Tigers host Winthrop (Winthrop, MA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-17. Winthrop won 53-48 in their recent non-league bout against Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA)
