In Thursday's league battle, the host Parkersburg South Patriots basketball squad scored a decisive 65-41 victory over the Huntington Highlanders.
With the victory, Parkersburg South advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to University (Morgantown, WV) to meet the Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 11-5. University lost 82-69 in their recent league battle against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH)
The Highlanders now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Mills for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15. Huntington will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 77-36 league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-1.
