In Thursday's non-league test, the Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) basketball squad defeated the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK), by a score of 49-38.
Next, the Moose clash with the Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights test, on Friday, February 14. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Grizzlies come into the test with a 16-2 record after their 64-57 league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).
The Kardinals (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Houston (Big Lake, AK). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Houston was toppled by Redington (Wasilla, AK), 46-44, in a league game.
