In Thursday's league contest, the host Waupaca Comets basketball team scored a good 54-46 triumph over the Little Chute Mustangs.
The Comets (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against New London (New London, WI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, New London topped Menasha (Menasha, WI), 63-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Roncalli Jets (Manitowoc, WI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. Little Chute will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Jets go into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 76-63 league win over Kiel (Kiel, WI).
