New York High School Basketball - Roosevelt nips Marlboro Central

In Thursday's league contest, the host Roosevelt Presidents basketball team scored a close 61-56 triumph over the Marlboro Central Dukes.
The Presidents (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Gladiators go into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Goshen Central nipped Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 79-41, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dukes battle the Pine Plains Bombers (Pine Plains, NY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Marlboro Central will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Bombers go into the contest with a 3-13 record after their 84-33 non-league loss to Onteora (Boiceville, NY).
