The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Tri-County Mustangs (Jamesport, MO) and the visiting Mercer Cardinals (Mercer, MO), observed Tri-County's basketball team overcome Mercer by a score of 64-52.

The Mustangs (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris (Galt, MO). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Grundy County/Newtown-Harris defeated East Harrison [Ridgeway/Cainsville] (Ridgeway, MO), 63-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Mercer will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record.
