The Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Thompsonville to 34 in the Fighting Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Cardinals now have a 13-13 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton County for a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. Norris City-Omaha-Enfield will confront a Foxes team coming off a 48-35 league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Thompsonville falls to 10-19 on the campaign. The host Pope County (Golconda, IL) to confront the Pirates in a Greater Egyptian game on Wednesday, February 19.
