In Thursday's league test, the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC), by a score of 53-29.
Next, the Bobcats encounter the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 17. Piedmont Classical will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 16-7 record after their 89-75 non-league win over Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC).
The Bengals (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont test with a 6-24 record. In their last test, Bethany Community was routed by Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC), 53-52, in a league test.
