Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL), 69-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Freeport upgrades its record to 24-7 on the year. The Pretzels host Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL) to face the Titans in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Titans enter the match with a record of 18-13. Boylan Catholic won 61-22 in their recent league match against Rockford East (Rockford, IL)

The Blue Thunder now sport a 9-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere for a Northern Illinois 10 match on Saturday, February 15. Belvidere North will face a Bucs squad coming off a 69-45 league loss to Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Bucs record now stands at 16-14.
