In Thursday's league contest, the host Ferndale Eagles basketball team scored a good 62-48 triumph over the Lake Orion Dragons.
The Eagles (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkston (Clarkston, MI). The Wolves go into the Oakland - Red contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Clarkston topped Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI), 47-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Adams Highlanders (Rochester, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Lake Orion will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record.
