In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Franklin Warriors basketball team scored a big 56-19 triumph over the Phillipsburg Stateliners.

The Warriors (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Gill St. Bernard's smashed Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ), 84-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Stateliners confront the Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Phillipsburg will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record.
