Michigan High School Basketball - Maple Valley trounced by Reading

The Maple Valley Lions basketball squad (Vermontville, MI), was crushed 59-13 in Thursday's league battle with the host Reading Rangers (Reading, MI)

With the victory, Reading advances its record to 10-8 on the year. The Rangers travel to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI) to meet the Panthers in a Big 8 battle on Monday, February 17. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 8-10. Stockbridge lost 50-33 in their recent league battle against Bronson (Bronson, MI)

The Lions now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Philip Catholic Central for a non-league battle on Monday, February 17. Maple Valley will meet a Fighting Tigers squad coming off a 48-38 league loss to Athens (Athens, MI). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 6-12.
