The Munising Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Superior Central Cougars to 12 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they host Ishpeming for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Munising will play a Hematites team coming off a 78-46 non-league win over Escanaba (Escanaba, MI). The Hematites record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Superior Central falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI) to play the Wolves in a Skyline game on Monday, February 17. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 9-9. Carney-Nadeau lost 45-31 in their recent league game against Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI)
