Oregon High School Basketball - Powder Valley thwarts Pine Eagle

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) and the host Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR), observed Powder Valley's basketball team knock off Pine Eagle by a score of 54-46.
The Badgers (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Joseph (Joseph, OR). The Eagles come into the 1A Old Oregon challenge with a 8-14 record. In their last challenge, Joseph was knocked off by Union (Union, OR), 44-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Friday, February 14. Pine Eagle will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 44-29 league loss to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR).
