The Quincy Orioles basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Union City Chargers to 25 in the Orioles league triumph on Thursday.

The Orioles now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Bellevue for a non-league game on Monday, February 17. Quincy will confront a Broncos team coming off a 70-28 league loss to Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Union City falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI) to confront the Lions in a Big 8 game on Tuesday, February 18. The Lions go into the game with a record of 2-17. Maple Valley lost 44-18 in their recent non-league game against St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI)
