Virginia High School Basketball - Virginia Episcopal School held off by The Covenant

February 13, 2025: Lynchburg, VA 24503

In Thursday's league test, the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad got by the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), by a score of 67-63.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 14. The Covenant will attempt to improve on its 17-6 season record. The Springers come into the test with a 12-4 record after their 79-23 league win over Varina (Richmond, VA).

The Bishops (12-8) will now prepare for their test against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Saints come into the non-league test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, St. Anne's-Belfield was nipped by Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA), 59-57, in a non-league test.
