In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Western Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a good 17-5 triumph over the Cooper City Cowboys.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Boca Raton (Boca Raton, FL). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Boca Raton was overwhelmed by Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), 10-9, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cowboys encounter the Coral Glades Jaguars (Coral Springs, FL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, February 26. Cooper City will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
