The James River Knights basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers to 31 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Glenvar for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. James River will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 71-46 non-league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 18-2.
With the loss, Carroll County falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Alleghany (Covington, VA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 15-4.
