The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) basketball edged the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers (Upper Marlboro, MD), 40-38 in Thursday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Surrattsville for a bout on Tuesday, February 18. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will play a Hornets team coming off a 30-20 non-league win over Digital Pioneers Academy (Washington, DC). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South falls to 0-2 on the campaign.
