The Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), 82-47 in Monday's non-league test.
The Jesuits (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels go into the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Shelton was trounced by West Haven (West Haven, CT), 63-47, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cheshire for a non-league test on Friday, February 18. Branford will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Rams record now stands at 5-10.
