The Linton-Stockton Miners basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting South Knox Spartans to 26 in the Miners non-league victory on Monday.
The Miners now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 17. Linton-Stockton will battle a Lions team coming off a 75-49 league loss to Robinson (Robinson, IL). The Lions record now stands at 5-18.
The Spartans (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Vincennes Rivet (Vincennes, IN). The Patriots come into the Blue Chip contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Vincennes Rivet was defeated by Shoals (Shoals, IN), 72-33, in a league contest.
