Michigan High School Basketball - Athens overwhelmed by Oxford

The Oxford Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Athens Red Hawks to 21 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brandon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 15. Oxford will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 65-32 league loss to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 5-10.
The Red Hawks (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI). The Dragons come into the Oakland - White contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Orion triumphed over Berkley (Berkley, MI), 36-31, in a league contest.
