The Onekama Portagers basketball team (Onekama, MI), was overwhelmed 54-25 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, MI)
The Panthers now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leland for a Northwest battle on Friday, February 18. Frankfort will confront a Comets team coming off a 42-33 league loss to Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Comets record now stands at 7-9.
The Portagers (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Mason County Central (Scottville, MI). The Spartans come into the Western Michigan battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Mason County Central trounced Ravenna (Ravenna, MI), 43-33, in a league battle.
