The Patton Panthers basketball team (Morganton, NC), dropped 50-38 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC)

The Wolverines now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to R-S Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 16. Polk County will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 57-34 non-league win over Chase (Forest City, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 12-13.
