The St. Francis Indian Warriors basketball team (St. Francis, SD), was overwhelmed 70-26 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting White River Tigers (White River, SD)
The Tigers now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jones County for a B Region 7 battle on Tuesday, February 15. White River will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 44-38 non-league win over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 13-5.
The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes come into the non-league battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Pine Ridge was overwhelmed by Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD), 52-45, in a non-league battle.
