Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), 75-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Alamo Navajo upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Cougars host Mountainair (Mountainair, NM) to clash with the Mustangs in a A District 3 bout on Saturday, February 18. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Mountainair won 51-42 in their recent league bout against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM)

Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Carrizozo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-13 record after their 44-39 league win over Animas (Animas, NM).
