Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN), 46-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Annandale upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Cardinals host Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Rockets play the Dassel-Cokato Chargers (Cokato, MN) in a AA Section 5 bout, on Friday, February 17. Rockford will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 62-53 non-league win over New London-Spicer (New London, MN).
