Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Burke Bulldogs (Dorchester, MA), 98-87 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop Williams upgrades its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Bishops host Bishop Stang (North Dartmouth, MA) to play the Spartans in a Catholic Central - Large bout on Friday, February 17. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 7-10. Bishop Stang lost 72-52 in their recent non-league bout against Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Watertown Red Raiders (Watertown, MA) in a non-league game, on Sunday, February 19. Burke will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Red Raiders enter the game with a 8-11 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA).
