The Ashby Arrows basketball team (Ashby, MN), was routed 66-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Battle Lake Battlers (Battle Lake, MN)
The Battlers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rothsay for a A Section 6 battle on Thursday, February 16. Battle Lake will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-37 league loss to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-17.
The Arrows (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN). The Jaguars come into the A Section 6 battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa was routed by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN), 74-71, in a non-league battle.
