The Bell City Bruins basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Welsh Greyhounds to 67 in the Bruins non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bruins now sport a 15-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gueydan for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Bell City will battle a Bears team coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Kaplan (Kaplan, LA). The Bears record now stands at 1-12.
With the defeat, Welsh moves to 19-11 on the year. The Greyhounds host Oakdale (Oakdale, LA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, February 17. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 17-7. Oakdale won 69-66 in their recent league match against Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA)
