The Potosi Chieftains basketball team scored 87 points and restricted the visiting Belmont Braves to 45 in the Chieftains league victory on Tuesday.

The Chieftains now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shullsburg for a Six Rivers - West contest on Friday, February 17. Potosi will battle a Miners team coming off a 77-30 league loss to River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI). The Miners record now stands at 10-13.

The Braves (1-20) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Highland, WI). The Cardinals come into the Six Rivers - West contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Highland was routed by Benton (Benton, WI), 73-59, in a league contest.
