Beloit Trojans (Beloit, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sacred Heart Knights (Salina, KS), 58-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beloit upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS) to clash with the Lions in a North Central AA bout on Friday, February 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-16. Minneapolis won 47-32 in their recent league bout against Republic County (Belleville, KS)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 47-32 league loss to Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS).
