Connecticut High School Basketball - Bethel topped by New Fairfield

The New Fairfield Rebels basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Bethel Wildcats to 40 in the Rebels league victory on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joel Barlow for a Southwest contest on Friday, February 17. New Fairfield will battle a Falcons team coming off a 73-56 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 3-16.
The Wildcats (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers come into the Southwest contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Masuk was defeated by Brookfield (Brookfield, CT), 82-74, in a league contest.
