With the triumph, Morgantown moves its record to 19-2 on the year. The Mohigans host George Washington (Charleston, WV) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Thursday, February 23. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 15-2.

Next up, the Indians play the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Thursday, February 16. Bridgeport will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 55-52 league win over Lincoln (Shinnston, WV).
