Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN), 63-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Eagan upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a AAAA Section 3 bout on Thursday, February 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-18. Apple Valley lost 61-36 in their recent non-league bout against Farmington (Farmington, MN)

Next up, the Blaze face the Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 17. Burnsville will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 19-2 record after their 71-60 non-league win over Rosemount (Rosemount, MN).
