Central Christian Cougars (Hutchinson, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Burrton Chargers (Burrton, KS), 59-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Christian upgrades its record to 6-14 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Skyline (Pratt, KS) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Skyline won 51-48 in their recent non-league bout against Norwich (Norwich, KS)

Next up, the Chargers play the South Barber Chieftains (Kiowa, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Burrton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Chieftains come into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 66-58 non-league loss to Fairfield (Langdon, KS).
