Byron Bears (Byron, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN), 64-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Byron upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Bears travel to Lake City (Lake City, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 22-1. Lake City won 70-46 in their recent league bout against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN)

Next up, the Komets play the Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Kasson-Mantorville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 20-3 record after their 66-52 league win over Hayfield (Hayfield, MN).
