The Caledonia Fighting Scots basketball team (Caledonia, MI), was nudged 65-61 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI)
The Panthers now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockford for a Ottawa-Kent - Red battle on Friday, February 17. West Ottawa will battle a Rams team coming off a 58-34 league win over Jenison (Jenison, MI). The Rams record now stands at 13-5.
The Fighting Scots (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI). The Falcons come into the Ottawa-Kent - Red battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, East Kentwood edged Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI), 53-48, in a league battle.
