The Calvert Senecas basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks to 45 in the Senecas league victory on Tuesday.

The Senecas now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Danbury for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Friday, February 17. Calvert will battle a Lakers team coming off a 72-67 non-league win over Edison (Milan, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 12-9.

The Crimson Streaks (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lakota (Kansas, OH). The Raiders come into the Sandusky Bay - River contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Lakota was defeated by Northwood (Northwood, OH), 61-30, in a non-league contest.
